Strategic operations & digital transformation
AI is in every conversation, but knowing where to start is the real challenge. This is hands-on help for organizations ready to modernize operations, adopt AI practically, and build governance that lasts.
About
A career that began in civil engineering led to a decade at Accenture, delivering SAP implementations as a technical architect and application security consultant across North America. That enterprise background became the foundation for Second Office - a business services company providing flexible workspaces, compliance support, and virtual office services to businesses in East London, South Africa. Fourteen years and a continent away, Second Office still runs. A team in East London manages clients independently - proof that the right systems outlast the founder's presence.
That journey - building for underserved communities, bridging digital divides, turning underutilized spaces into productive assets - is the foundation of everything that follows. Now based on British Columbia's Sunshine Coast, the focus is on AI, operations, and community empowerment.
Closing the digital divide is central to this work. Whether it's helping elders navigate technology, training youth in no-code development, or helping a community organization build operational systems that scale - the principle is simple: technology should serve people, not the other way around.
“I think in systems, build with technology, and lead with empathy. My sweet spot is taking organizations from chaos to clarity.”
Capabilities
Practical AI capabilities without vendor lock-in or data exposure. Automating admin, streamlining reporting, building internal tools - every implementation stays under the organization's control. This is not advisory. These are tools built and deployed.
Operations that survive staff turnover and run without their architect. Workflows audited, tribal knowledge codified into playbooks, and systems designed to outlast any single person in the room.
Governance frameworks that boards can actually use - conflict of interest policies, strategic planning structures, risk oversight, and compliance systems aligned to recognized standards like King IV and the G20/OECD Principles.
Complex initiatives delivered on time and on budget. Methodology-agnostic execution - Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid - shaped to fit the organization, not the other way around. Grounded in a decade of enterprise-scale delivery.
Digital confidence that compounds. Teams, boards, and community members equipped to navigate technology independently - from no-code development to strategic futures planning. The goal is capability transfer, not dependency.
